Cooper's 2nd Birthday!!

This year (July 13, 2010) Cooper wanted a "kaktor" (tractor) party. No surprise there. We had a really simple family party at the stake center pavilion. At the time of his party Cooper was completely obsessed with tractors. It was the only thing he would play with, and the only word he would say. Every time we went over to g-ma/g-pa house or work he would have to go on a tractor ride. And the only gifts he received at his party were tractors, and he loved every single one of them!

Cooper Turns 2 (part one)

I think that it is safe to say that I officially suck at blogging! A lot has happened in the past year or so, so I will do my best to catch everyone up to date a little bit!

Coop turned the big 2 last July. I thought it would be fun to do a cake smash, and I thought he would enjoy it too...WRONG(what 2 year old doesn't like a big cake covered in frosting!?!?!) First off he was mad that I put tractors on his cake, it made them "dirty." Instead of smashing into his cake like I thought he would, he would delicately stick a finger in the frosting and then try to shake it off. My cousin Aliza was trying to help me with the pictures. I told her to smash his hand into the cake, and to put some frosting on his face to see if that would help him along. That made it worse and the tears started to come. Since the cake smash didn't work I turned on the water hose to clean him up, and so he could play in it. Thats when he decided to perk up and have some fun!
